On September 28th, CART1ER celebrated its 21st birthday with an evening to remember. Employees, business partners and former colleagues all joined in the fun. Some would say it was a typical CART1ER party; one that was “dedicated to festiveness”.

Take 3 spins on the Goliath at La Ronde, throw in a few turns on the Tour de ville, grab a couple of hot dogs and hamburgers, mix in a little popcorn, add two quizzes on digital media and some memory games, and cap it all off with a few drinks. That’s the recipe for a great evening, compliments of the Canadian Out-of-home Digital Association. The CART1ER team of 5 highly energetic members, dubbed La fosse aux lionnes (the lion’s den), competed hard all night and finished in spectacular fashion… in 13th place!

His name is Chakim Adel Remila. He’s 22 years old. He’s the new intern at CART1ER, and he has taken the agency by storm. Studying Communications, Copywriting and Multimedia at Université de Sherbrooke, Chakim arrives at work every morning full of good-natured humour and incredible resourcefulness, ready to lend a hand to anyone who might need it. A former tennis instructor, he’s always ready to take on whatever the agency world can serve up, and he’s a big hit.

Green grass, hot sun, annoying ants and juicy stories. No, it’s not a brainstorming session, it’s a CART1ER picnic! They take place whenever the weather cooperates. Tablecloths, seating mats (shhh… they’re parts of the agency’s carpeting) and yoga mats are placed on the ground to lay out the daily feast. From salads to General Tao chicken, brochettes to soup, we share our lunches and fill our stomachs, and don’t forget the sunscreen!

It’s their annual tradition. For 5 years now, Martine and Isa have gone on vacation together. During their last trip to Orlando, these two co-workers/travel buddies took the opportunity to scout out a few locations at Disney World for our client, Harley-Davidson! Their next destination, scheduled for July, is Chicago. Have a great trip ladies, and don’t forget to bring us all a souvenir!

The day after the 2011 Créa Gala, the CART1ER team savoured its first ever Créa wins (two awards and one Grand Prize). Together with our wonderful partners, the entire team feasted on a cake in the shape of the Grand Prize, and sipped glasses of champagne. Number of calories per portion: TOO MANY.
